Kelsey created a cozy reading corner in her home by using seven IKEA BILLY bookcases and a deep navy paint finish. The project cost around $1,500 and involved removing old trim to achieve a built-in look. Kelsey and her husband enhanced the shelves with decorative trim and took extra care in prepping the surfaces for paint. The result is a visually bigger space with a luxurious feel, fulfilling Kelsey’s dream of a library inspired by Belle's from Beauty and the Beast, albeit with the wish for a bookcase ladder remaining for the future.
