Braun Levi, an 18-year-old high school tennis prodigy, tragically passed away after being hit by a suspected drunk driver, Jenia Belt. Officers responded to the scene early on May 4, only to find that Levi succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. School officials described Levi as a beacon of joy and inspiration, with Principal Jamal K. Adams highlighting his positive impact on the Loyola community. During a prayer service, as friends shared memories of Levi’s adventurous spirit, the school mourned an exceptional student and athlete taken too soon.
"Braun was a shining presence in our Loyola family, bringing light, joy, and inspiration to everyone he touched," said Principal Jamal K. Adams.
