The 'Rally for a Dream' took place on Memorial Day on Boston Common, with hundreds gathering to advocate for immigrant protections while honoring fallen veterans. Organized by Mass 50501, the rally is part of a broader movement against the current administration's policies on immigration. Speakers like Rebecca Winter and Kylie Bemis stressed the importance of safeguarding the ideals of democracy and highlighted the injustices faced by immigrants. The event featured various chants and calls for action against government policies perceived as harmful to immigrant communities.

When I saw that things were swiftly moving towards authoritarianism, I felt an obligation to do my part, to resist, to speak up, to point out the injustices that other people seemed to be missing.
