Pakistan links train hijacking to Afghan handlers' and Indian mastermind
Briefly

Pakistan has alleged that the Jaffar Express train hijacking was orchestrated by terrorists liaising with handlers in Afghanistan, with claims of India being the mastermind behind the attack. Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry provided details on Operation Green Bolan, which successfully rescued 354 passengers after a prolonged standoff, albeit with 26 fatalities. The Baloch Liberation Army, claiming responsibility, was also implicated by Chaudhry in disseminating misleading media imagery. This incident has sparked tensions as both India and Afghanistan flatly reject the charges.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated, "We must understand that in this terrorist incident in Balochistan, and others before, the main sponsor is eastern neighbour [India]."
Chaudhry emphasized that during the operation, a total of 354 passengers were rescued, but unfortunately, 26 lives were lost, including 18 from the army or paramilitary forces.
