Newsome was filmed shouting threats and insults at the cop, including 'I'll beat the sh-t out of you' and 'You're a vagina.' The incident's cause was not immediately clear.
Newsome grabbed a female cop's hand and pushed it away during the confrontation. He was later issued three summonses for disorderly conduct.
The incident occurred at a hearing for NYPD Sgt. Erik Duran, charged with second-degree manslaughter for throwing a cooler at a drug suspect, resulting in the suspect's death. Duran pleaded not guilty.
