"I think the original has a kind of special place in my heart. Recently it started occurring to me that probably a large percentage of our players had never actually experienced the original one," said Hoggatt, revealing his excitement to revisit the original Nuketown in Black Ops 6.
Hoggatt mentioned that Nuketown was not a 'production map' for the 2010 original Black Ops, stating it was more of an experiment to design a small-sized map that in essence became one of Call of Duty's most beloved maps.
Although Nuketown isn't part of the 16 launch maps for Black Ops 6, Hoggatt confirmed that it will be released as free DLC on November 1, thrilling many long-time fans.
The upcoming Black Ops 6's Nuketown will capture the essence of the original, set in the 1950s, and promises to deliver the fast and chaotic action players love.
