This Innovative Bike Brand Is Closing Its Doors
Briefly

Revel Bikes, known for its innovation in the mountain biking community, has announced the closure of its operations and asset liquidation. This decision, prompted by financial difficulties exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic's effects and market pressures such as tariffs, leaves a void in the industry. The management expressed their financial exhaustion despite exploring every possible option. Industry members, including employees and partners, are disheartened by the news, reflecting on the brand's significant contributions and the impact their absence will have on the mountain bike scene.
There is no easy way to say this. Revel Bikes as it currently stands is closing its doors. Regrettably, though we have tried every avenue possible, we have exhausted all options and run out of funds to support the business. This decision comes at a critical juncture for our capital requirements, and we cannot weather this one alone.
This news is saddening for the industry and larger MTB community, and I have personally had the pleasure of working closely with the team at Revel during several pivotal launches in the brand's history.
To all the riders, employees, creatives, and partners who have made Revel such an incredible brand, our thoughts and support are with you. Your presence in the industry will be sorely missed.
Our circumstance is tough, though not unique in the market, with product delays, significant payments coming due and a very soft market.
