While the previous winter season may not have been as record-breaking as the one prior, the slow melt of snow due to a cold spring still required extensive refurbishing of trails and infrastructure for the current bike season.
Despite challenges, Mammoth Mountain has been gradually opening trails, like Chair 11 two weeks ago, requiring significant snow removal efforts to make the trails accessible to bikers.
