Andrew Strohmeyer, riding for CXD Trek Bikes, continued his dominance in the Charm City CX, securing his fifth consecutive victory by taking the hole shot early on and maintaining his lead despite a fall in the first lap.
Eric Brunner, while initially keeping pace with Strohmeyer, was unable to sustain the speed required and subsequently lost ground, ultimately being overtaken by Scott Funston during the race.
Scott Funston from Cervelo Orange Living managed to finish in second place, but despite his efforts, he could not close the gap to Strohmeyer, who was in a league of his own during the race.
In the final standings, Brunner finished third, 10 seconds behind Funston, showcasing the competitive nature of the race while also highlighting Strohmeyer’s commanding presence at the front.
