Rhylee Akeroyd has achieved her goal of winning the national under-23 road race title but immediately focused on her next challenge at the ProVelo Super League. The 21-year-old aims to secure a professional cycling contract in Europe and is eager to compete in the inaugural under-23 Women's World Championship race in Rwanda. Performing well in these competitions could open doors for future opportunities, including selection for the World Championship and potential contracts with professional teams like Liv-AlUla-Jayco.
I'm really hoping to be picked up by a professional team in Europe - that would be the dream and I also really would love to be in Rwanda at the first ever under-23 Women's World Championship race.
A good performance in Rwanda at the World Championships would of course help on the path to the first goal of securing a professional contract.
