Plans to convert disused office spaces into a Premier Inn-style hotel in Kentish Town are underway, featuring micro-hotel rooms designed to maximize space and amenities.
Latitude Architects are set to design the hotel, which will retain retail units on the ground floor, including a McDonald's, and requires no significant external alterations.
The proposed hotel aims to create 74 rooms, each approximately half the size of a traditional Premier Inn room while still providing the same amenities.
The existing buildings at nos. 293-299 and 301-305 will undergo conversion with a planned entrance from Holmes Road, and comments on the proposal can be submitted until October 26.
