"We are back, and we are enthusiastic," said Wallace. "We have recharged the batteries and are ready to get stuck in."

Wallace said he became aware that Irish Distillers had been looking to divest Eight Degrees Brewing since the pair departed. He added that he had heard of one or two interested parties, but any deal ultimately fell through.
