"I don't think it's down to his individual performance," Eckner told BBC Radio 5 Live. "Bayern can play the ball around the backline but they aren't getting the ball to him. He looks isolated on an island but if he doesn't get fed any balls, how is he meant to do anything? Bayern have 60% possession but don't really do anything with it and that's not a great way to play."
"They have won the German Championship each year since 2013 so it would be historic if they didn't do it."
