Bayern's last offer for Davies was worth €13m fixed plus bonuses per year. Davies and his agent demanded €16m plus bonuses in addition to a €15m signing fee.
Bayern remain open to extending Davies' contract, but he must lower his demands and try to mend the relationship with his agent, Nick Huoseh.
