A scattered group of farmers from Bayern Munich and an over-the-hill band from Real Madrid bounced the best you had to offer. It's true, a bunch of Germany-based hacks took out Arsenal FC and a glorified pickleball team (albeit with a couple of young ringers) sent Manchester City packing.
Manchester City was probably the better team against Real Madrid and maybe - based on talent - should have moved on, but Arsenal...man, what an overrated group that lacked composure. Sure, there was talent there, but that talent was not ready to win a big game.
