The group, which will likely include five commission members and operators of a handful of local venues, is expected to deliver its recommendations by the end of March.
Venues would be eligible for a total pool of $1 million, with award amounts split between $30,000 for those with operating budgets under $100,000 and $60,000 for those with budgets in excess of $100,000.
