Gibby Haynes is scheduled to warm up for Austin’s Levitation festival with a four-show residency at Brooklyn’s Union Pool in August. The residency, titled “Gibby Haynes: Butthole Surfers Mania,” runs every Wednesday in August on 8/5, 8/12, 8/19, and 8/26. Tickets are available now. Butthole Surfers are also preparing new releases, including the “lost” album After the Astronaut on June 26. The band will additionally release a new documentary called The Hole Truth and Nothing Butt.
