With another cardiac arrest-inducing performance on the year, the Atlanta Falcons pulled out the win over their rivals from the swamp. It wasn't a pretty game, and these division rivalries rarely offer pretty games, so let's get to it. Here are my Week 4 Snap Reactions.
Andersen was all over the field today with nine solo tackles and six assists. His impact plays helped cover up a weak defensive performance from his peers. We saw him meet Kamara in the hole and stuff the running back.
The team never gave up on their second-round pick, and it's good they ignored the noise. Today was Andersen's 10th start as a pro, and it looked like everything had come together, giving us a taste of the peak possible for him.
It's clear now that offenses view Alford as the weak link, and they will continue attacking him, since defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake doesn't appear to feel the need to give anyone else some run.
