The Atlanta Falcons filled their second-to-last practice squad vacancy on Thursday, signing offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson. The veteran spent 2022 with Atlanta, starting nine games and made 18 starts across both the 2022 and 2023 seasons with the team.
Wilkinson previously played for the Falcons in 2022, starting nine games at left guard. This year, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals, seeing action in 10 games, starting nine.
In addition to Wilkinson, the Falcons also added Monty Rice, a former third-round pick from the Titans, to their practice squad after he did not make the Saints' roster.
The Falcons' updated 16-man practice squad now includes these two new signings, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to strengthening their roster as the season approaches.
