It's been a wild season, and it's been a wild week. The Braves haven't lost since last Friday, coming out of a hurricane-engendered interruption to their season by taking the first two against the Royals.
For the Braves, it's about polishing off the sweep today, at which point they will punch their ticket to their seventh straight postseason. Starter-wise, the Braves have tabbed Charlie Morton.
Charlie Morton will carry 1.3 fWAR and a 98/109/97 line into today's contest. His season has been a mix of 2022 struggles and a step back overall in 2023.
Overall, Morton's season has been somewhat of a mix of his 2022, when he struggled with homers and lefties, and his 2023, where the homer issues didn't quite arise.
