The Tekken team recently apologized for the unintended consequences of their season 2 update, which aimed to enhance defensive strategies but inadvertently favored aggressive play. An emergency patch scheduled for April 17 will address key gameplay imbalances, such as health increases and adjustments to powerful moves like those of character Jack. Additionally, the game’s Heat system will undergo changes to balance offensive and defensive elements. The team is also preparing a follow-up update for mid-May to implement further refinements based on community feedback.
We sincerely apologize that the actual balance changes did not align with the development intentions... We are committed to distinguishing between issues that can be addressed quickly, and issues that require more time.
Changes include an increase to maximum health... to mitigate rounds being lost due to one-sided momentum. There’s also gradual adjustments to certain "high-reward" moves.
