The Taipei Biennial, themed "Whispers on the Horizon," will run from November 1, 2025, to March 29, 2026. Curated by Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath, this edition focuses on the concept of yearning, both universal and tied to Taiwan's colonial past. It features 54 artists from 35 cities, with a special emphasis on emerging artists. The biennial will showcase 33 new works and installations, connecting contemporary themes of migration and identity to Taiwan’s rich history and experiences. Influential literary and cinematic works inform the exhibition's narrative focus.
