Stones Venue is a newly constructed public shelter located within Brescia’s Parco delle Cave, formerly a sand mining site. This initiative, born from the collaboration between the Consorzio Produttori Marmo Botticino Classico and the Municipality of Brescia, honors the territorial identity shaped by local quarrying activities. Over nearly five years, eleven companies contributed discarded stone blocks, resulting in pillars crafted from nine stone varieties. The structure not only offers shade and shelter but also memorializes the efforts of those involved in the stone industry, linking Brescia and Bergamo through its architectural synthesis.
