Anthropic, the company behind the Claude chatbot, is developing safeguards, publishing an 80-page constitution for its model and partnering with the UK government to build public-service assistants. Concerns include existential risks, misuse such as sexualised deepfakes, and an acceleration of danger between 2023 and 2026.
