Two new studies from University of Washington introduce AI systems - RialTo and URDFormer - that create simulations for robot training from videos or photos, reducing costs significantly.
The system RialTo allows users to record a space with a smartphone, create a 'digital twin' simulation, and train robots effectively by virtually repeating motions with slight variations.
