Tinder will use AI to help you pick your best profile picture
Briefly

Tinder's new AI feature, Photo Selector, helps users choose the best profile photo by considering factors like lighting and composition. It offers suggestions from the user's photo reel, leaving the final choice up to the user.
The AI avoids suggesting photos of other people by using biometric data generated from the user's existing profile photo or video selfie. Group photos are automatically excluded, and all biometric data is deleted after the search, with no collection of photos from the camera roll.
Tinder warns users that they are ultimately responsible for the photo they choose to upload, despite the AI tool's assistance. The Photo Selector feature was tested since last August and will be available to U.S. users soon, followed by a global rollout this summer.
