This bank is using AI versions of its analysts to meet clients' demand for videos
Briefly

UBS has initiated a pioneering use of AI by creating avatar videos from analysts' notes, participating with a group of 36 volunteer analysts across various sectors. The bank aims to meet client demands for video content while improving operational efficiency, as traditional video production limited output to about 1,000 videos annually. Implementing tools from OpenAI and Synthesia allows for rapid content creation and provides analysts with new ways to communicate research findings visually. UBS's strategy reflects a broader banking trend towards technology-enhanced client engagement.
Using OpenAI and Synthesia tools, a script is generated in a matter of seconds that is then edited by staff.
The new tools are enabling somebody to use a capability in video that they weren't really able to use before.
It also gives clients another way to digest information and meet their rising demand for video.
I want them to have an avatar, just like we provide Excel and CRM tools for analysts.
