Hankavan, an hour from Yerevan, hosts summer camps drawing students for tech programs. Over 100 young people attended a camp to learn about AI career paths organized by the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology to prepare youth for tech jobs. On the last day, Armenian tech professionals advised high school students nationwide. Nvidia, Firebird, and Armenia's government announced a $500 million AI factory using thousands of GPUs; location not yet announced. The project is expected to create many professional jobs and give Armenia a competitive advantage in AI. Nvidia executives predict AI infrastructure will become ubiquitous, likening it to electricity.
