Most companies will increase IT spending in 2025. But there's a twist in the tale
Briefly

The study we conducted indicates that the demand for IT professionals is on the rise as companies plan to increase tech investments amid growing business challenges. Most employers have expressed difficulty finding candidates with the necessary expertise, particularly in cybersecurity, data analysis, and AI skills. This shortage of IT talent underscores a critical gap that companies must address as they look to bolster their technical capabilities.
Our findings show that nearly two-thirds of companies intend to increase their IT budgets in 2025, primarily due to increasing security concerns and a growing need for advanced technology solutions. With budget growth driven mainly by security challenges, organizations are making strategic investments in generative AI, security solutions, and essential hardware like laptops to maintain competitiveness in fast-evolving markets.
