Microsoft is introducing a new branding called 'Copilot Plus PCs' to showcase when Windows laptops come with AI hardware and support for AI features across the OS.
The AI features will be enabled by a neural processor included in the laptops, with flagship feature 'Recall' creating a searchable 'photographic memory' using AI.
Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft exec, mentioned the new laptops will be '58 percent faster' than a MacBook Air with M3 processor and have 'all day' battery life, possibly with Arm-based processors.
