Manchester City is letting fans design its new kit with AI
Briefly

Manchester City is inviting fans to design the club's future kit using AI technology, with the winning design to be worn by players in the 2026-2027 season.
The club has partnered with Puma and AI company DeepObjects to create a text-to-image generator for fans, allowing them to customize their own designs through various styles.
Fans can only submit two designs for the contest, which ends on December 20th, with selections made via fan ratings and expertise from Manchester City and Puma.
This initiative marks the first time an AI-generated soccer uniform will be officially worn on the pitch, following initial designs made by players for a goalkeeper kit.
