I'm a designer who's worried about AI, but not for the reasons you think.
Briefly

One of the biggest, most noticeable impacts that I've witnessed with the rise of AI is the lack of confidence among designers. Many now question their worth and skills, comparing themselves to the capabilities of AI-generated designs, leading to a diminishing self-belief where creativity must compete with algorithms.
As I navigate this landscape, I see many peers expressing doubts about their place in the industry. It becomes a cycle of questioning oneself while trying to keep up with rapid technological advancements, which can be overwhelming and disheartening if not managed properly.
