Google's AI photo editing tools are expanding to a lot more phones
Briefly

Starting May 15th, just about all Google Photos users will be able to access features previously limited to Pixel owners and Google One subscribers. Magic Editor, Google's generative AI photo editing tool, previously exclusive to Pixel 8 series, is now available for older Pixels and all Photos users.
Any Google Photos user with an Android or iOS device meeting minimum requirements can use Magic Editor without a Google One subscription, with limitations on saved edits. Older features like Photo Unblur and Magic Eraser are free for all Photos users.
Generative AI features like Best Take and Audio Magic Eraser, which launched with Pixel 8 series, remain exclusive to those newest Pixels. To use Magic Editor, devices need a 64-bit chip, 4GB of RAM, and iOS 15 or Android 8.0.
