Gen AI as a software quality tool? Skepticism is fading as more organizations implement it
Briefly

According to a survey released by Capgemini and Sogeti, 68% of organizations are employing generative AI (gen AI) to assist their quality efforts, marking a significant trend in integrating AI into software quality management.
'The evolution of large language models and AI tools, particularly Copilot, have enabled their seamless integration into existing software development lifecycles, ushering in a new wave of efficiency and innovation in quality engineering automation,' stated the survey's team.
Spevacek and his co-authors noted, 'Last year's software quality survey showed an uptick in investments in AI solutions to drive quality transformation, indicating a growing acceptance of AI's value in engineering processes.'
The authors emphasized that many organizations have shifted from skepticism to action, stating, 'A large number of organizations are now moving from experimenting to real-scale implementation of gen AI to support quality engineering activities.'
