The UK has approved Europe's largest data center, spanning 2 million square feet and covering 85 acres in Hertfordshire. DC01UK's project, estimated at £3.75 billion, will maintain 54% of the area as green space. Anticipated benefits include £21.4 million in business rates, 500 construction jobs, and 200 permanent positions, alongside 13,740 indirect jobs.
