Created by Gaston Welisch, Data Poets project explores embodied interactions between people and urban spaces through AI, pushing the boundaries of how we experience AI beyond screens and voices.
The resulting experiences are celebrated through exhibitions or publications, offering a poetic approach to Citizen Science by re-appropriating places and giving them new meaning poetically.
The project comprises three AI devices: The Aesthete for visual stimuli, The Bard for audio data, and The Fountain Printer to translate sensory inputs into printed poems, crafted using 3D printing, Arduino, Processing, and AI technologies like GPT-2 and Google Vision.
