Cognitive fallacies in human intelligence (and those in AI)
Briefly

The discussion on whether AI matches or surpasses human intelligence is inherently vague. Current advancements have led to machines that can think, learn, and create, yet their intelligence does not convince us due to inherent fallacies. This raises critical questions about whether AI should mimic human traits or prioritize accuracy. Psychology plays a crucial role in clarifying these definitions and mechanisms to navigate the complexities of AI and human-like intelligence more effectively.
When AI matches human intelligence, with all its fallacies, we are unconvinced by its intelligence. Does AI need to be humanlike or should it be accurate?
It is not my aim to surprise or shock you - but the simplest way I can summarize is to say that there are now in the world machines that think, that learn, and that create.
