Amazon tries again, with another $4 billion, to get Anthropic to use its AI chips rather than Nvidia GPUs

Amazon’s new $4 billion investment in Anthropic, raising its total to $8 billion, aims to enhance the adoption of its Trainium chips over Nvidia's GPUs.

Anthropic has committed to using AWS as its primary cloud and training partner and will assist Amazon in developing future Trainium chips.
