AI is changing both jobs and the skills required to perform them, with 85 percent of U.S. professionals likely to see at least a quarter of their skills affected. AI literacy has become the most in-demand skill over the past year. Roles across marketing, human resources, engineering, arts and design, and media and communications are being disrupted. Specific occupations poised to be reshaped include writers and editors, software engineers, data analysts, videographers, librarians, web designers, marketing strategists, accountants, photographers, and translators. Jobs requiring physical presence or human-to-human interaction appear less affected. Nearly half of professionals worldwide report stress about the speed of expected AI adoption, and posts about feeling overwhelmed rose 82 percent year-over-year.
