Apple has announced that the next versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS will be available to the public on September 16, bringing numerous new features.
Key features include improved texting with Android devices via RCS, iPhone Mirroring on Mac, and more customization options, though generative AI features will arrive later.
Apple Intelligence, set to enhance user experience with generative AI, will be limited to newer devices including iPhone 15 Pro and certain iPads, not available in the EU yet.
Older devices will still support the new operating systems, with many being compatible, though some exceptions exist like the 2018 MacBook Air and older iPads.
