Apple VP of hardware tech Johny Srouji confirmed in an interview that the iPhone 16 lineup features 8GB of RAM to accommodate Apple Intelligence.
Srouji stated, "DRAM is one aspect" in determining hardware for Apple Intelligence, mentioning that the extra RAM is crucial for tasks like high-end gaming.
Apple has indicated that iOS 18 won’t bring Apple Intelligence to the iPhone 15 due to its 6GB RAM, making it a feature exclusive to the iPhone 16.
