The cheapest Cybertruck is now almost $100,000
Briefly

Tesla has stopped selling the $60,990 RWD Cybertruck and increased the price of the AWD version by $20,000 to $99,990, deviating significantly from the initially promised starting price of $39,990.
The top-tier tri-motor Cybertruck, named the Cyberbeast, saw a price hike to $119,990 from $99,990, further straying from original price expectations set at $39,990 in 2019.
Tesla's delivery estimates have improved, with AWD Cybertrucks expected between August and September 2024, and the high-end Cyberbeast slated for October to December 2024, signifying quicker delivery than previously projected for 2025.
The Cybertruck faces challenges beyond pricing, including two recalls in a year due to accelerator pedal and wiper blade issues. This comes amidst a difficult period for Tesla marked by declining profits, federal probes, lawsuits, and recalls.
