Xiaomi has ramped up production of its SU7 electric vehicle to unprecedented levels, achieving a staggering 160% utilization rate at its Beijing factory with over 20,000 units delivered in October.
The company forecasts that total deliveries of the SU7 electric vehicle will reach 100,000 by November, with a revised target of 120,000 units for the year.
With demand surging, Xiaomi has reported an average of 4,000 new reservations for the SU7 EV weekly since August, leading to wait times extending from 21 to 233 days for new orders.
The recent opening of preorders for the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, expected to start at around $112,500, indicates the company's ambition to expand its electric vehicle line significantly.
