Both models will utilize the same EV-only platform and will be manufactured in Europe. The future of the brand’s lineup, including the existing models 3, 4, 5, and 6, remains unchanged, suggesting that the Polestar 2 will persist as the entry-level offering until the new sedan arrives, expected before 2030.
The Polestar 2 will receive its own successor, maintaining the sedan's role as the entry-level model, while the Polestar 7 will be a mid-sized SUV.
