T-Mobile Starlink Beta was unveiled during Super Bowl LIX, allowing users from all carriers to register for the program until July 2025. This innovative service aims to eliminate dead zones by providing a direct-to-cellular mobile network that connects automatically to users' phones. While still in beta until an official launch in July, T-Mobile is inviting Verizon and AT&T customers to test the service without charge. After the beta phase, a subscription fee of $20/month will apply for these users. Company CEO Mike Sievert emphasized its significance in changing the wireless experience for all users.
T-Mobile Starlink is the first and only space-based mobile network in the US that automatically connects to your phone so you can be connected even where no cellular network reaches.
We're still in the early days - I don't want to overhype the experience during a beta test - but we're officially putting 'no bars' on notice.
If you can see the sky, you're connected.
The Beta program allows T-Mobile and Starlink to test their Direct-to-Cellular services until the launch.
