Raliou stated, 'Niger will benefit from this cutting-edge, high-speed technology at a very low cost,' highlighting the broad impact of Starlink across various sectors, including education and health.
The Minister pointed out the importance of security, saying, 'The partnership with Starlink will allow the Nigerian government to put in place reinforced security measures to prevent any illegal use of this technology,' addressing concerns regarding potential misuse.
Raliou elaborated on Starlink's significance for the region, noting, 'Starlink is expected to provide internet services throughout the West African nations, including in schools, economic sectors, universities, and agriculture.'
