In June 2024, Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX drivers in the U.S. will gain access to Tesla's extensive Supercharger network, significantly enhancing long-distance travel options. They will be provided with a manufacturer-approved charging adapter to facilitate the connection to Tesla's NACS plugs, as most U.S. Superchargers are equipped with this type. This initiative follows other automakers like Ford and GM who have already partnered with Tesla, reflecting a broader trend of collaborations aimed at increasing charging accessibility for EV owners.
The Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX will gain access to Tesla's Supercharger Network in June, making long road trips easier for their owners.
Both models will have a manufacturer-approved NACS to CCS adapter available at dealerships to access the more than 20,000 Tesla charging stalls.
With this move, Honda and Acura join a growing list of non-Tesla brands gaining access to Tesla's reliable DC fast-charging network in North America.
Customers will be notified via HondaLink and Acura EV apps when they can order their charging adapters to access Supercharger stations.
