Genesis, the luxury arm of Hyundai Motor, is shifting its UK sales strategy to exclusively electric vehicles (EVs) as it phases out combustion-powered cars. Current gas and diesel stock is expected to be depleted by summer, leaving three refreshed EV models available: Electrified G80, Electrified GV70, and GV60. Plans for future hybrids are in the works to attract more customers as EV registrations rise in the UK, where Genesis relies heavily on all-electric sales.
"Genesis is going all-in on electric cars in the UK, discontinuing combustion models by summer 2023, with a lineup focused solely on EVs."
