Electrify America has launched a pilot project featuring charging stations that accommodate both CCS1 and NACS connectors, enabling simultaneous charging for Tesla and non-Tesla EVs without needing adapters. Currently, two sites in Orlando, Florida, and Waterford, Connecticut, offer three charging stalls each, capable of serving two vehicles simultaneously per stall. The stations utilize Alpitronic dispensers, with the potential to deliver up to 400 kW, catering to a wide range of EVs, including those with high charging capacities, thus improving the overall EV charging infrastructure in the U.S.
Electrify America has started rolling out pilot charging stations that support both CCS1 and NACS cables, enhancing charging accessibility for both Tesla and non-Tesla EVs.
