A multidisciplinary team at TUM has developed an innovative filter material using zirconium carboxylate, effectively trapping PFAS from water sources, exceeding current filtration methods.
"PFAS pose a constant threat to public health," says Professor Jörg Drewes. "The legacy of PFAS will continue to affect us for several generations to come, necessitating urgent action to mitigate this public health risk."
